Friday 22nd July
We started this morning at 9.30(after breakfast) with ‘miny club’. And I again went to shout the program. The theme was zoo so the children we going to make an animal mask. When it was finished we made a new craft for the next day, it was a horse’s head. When it was finished at 12 o’clock we ate out lunch at took a shower. Our next activity started at 2 o’clock, which was face painting. I really liked it, although we only painted on hands/arms, but I was happy about that because I was afraid I would ruin it if I would paint a whole face. We decided to eat on our own this evening so we went to get a chicken burger and noodles. Later we heard that the food we had gotten otherwise didn’t taste very well, so perfect timing! At 7o’clock there was a miny disco where I helped but Nina did volleyball. I really liked the dancing with the children, there were even songs which I remembered to from when I was little. It was just finished and it started to rain extremely hard, so we were ‘locked’ in the swimming pool (you have to go through the swimming pool to get to the bunker, this is the place where the disco was). When we finally ran to the bar after almost an hour, we made a group picture with almost the whole animation team. But when we got back to our caravan, so windows were still open so the floor and our bed were partly wet. But the activities today were fun, actually this whole week. I really enjoyed it a lot and I’ve also learned a lot. We participated to many nice activities and were allowed to work with an amazing animation team, I’m glad that we were allowed to come to this camping, it was a great experience.
